Οι ακτιβιστές των δικαιωμάτων των ζώων απογυμνώθηκαν γυμνοί και κάλυψαν τον εαυτό τους με ψεύτικο αίμα στη Βαρκελώνη σε διαμαρτυρία ενάντια στη χρήση γούνας και δέρματος.

Δεκάδες αγωνιστές βρίσκονταν γυμνοί και ακίνητοι στην πολυσύχναστη πλατεία Plaza Catalunya, έναν από τους κύριους εμπορικούς και τουριστικούς προορισμούς της Βαρκελώνης, δίπλα σε μια πινακίδα με τίτλο «Πόσες ζωές μόνο για ένα παλτό;».

Η διαδήλωση οργανώθηκε από το ισπανικό υποκατάστημα της ομάδας ζώων Anima Naturalis.

Οι εικόνες δείχνουν διαδηλωτές συσσωρευμένες στην κορυφή του άλλου στον δημοφιλή τουριστικό προορισμό, καθώς επέμεναν «η κοινωνία πρέπει να γνωρίζει τη σκληρότητα ... στη βιομηχανία γούνας».
